            Date and place of birth: 7 February 1960, Bacău
 
            Studied at the Institute of Theatre and Cinematographic Art in Bucharest, Theatre Direction Department, between 1982 and1987, under the guidance of Cătălina Buzoianu-Gheorghe Vitanidis, associate professors Cristian Hadji-Culea – Nicolae Opriţescu.
           Graduation show: „O noapte furtunoasă” ("A Stormy Night") at the “Vasile Alecsandri” National Theatre in Iaşi. 
            Working since 1987 as a stage director at  „Vasile Alecsandri” National Theatre of Iaşi.

            Took part in 1006 in the 340th Session of the Salzburg Seminar in Austria, having as a topic  “The power of theatre”, an opportunity to exchange opinions about theatre with Arthur Miller, Ariel Dorfman, Andre Brink, Benedict Nightingale, etc.
            Was invited in 2001 to the International Theatre Congress in Thessalonica, Greece, and made a presentation with the title “Theatre: between fear and hope”. 
            Published numerous articles and studies, both in the local and in the national specialist press; published at the Princeps Edit Publishing House the study “Doctorii doctorului CHEKHOV” ("Dr Chekhov's doctors") – 2005.
            Numerous collaborations in radio and television. 
            Lecturer at the “George Enescu” University of Arts Iaşi, Theatre Department, as well as a PhD candidate at the same University.
            One of the initiators of the “ARTSCHOOL” Programme run by the (UNITER), the purpose of which is to introduce drama as a form of education in children communities.
